Olivier Buquen appointed as France's interministerial representative for competitive intelligence
France is often seen as poorly engaged into competitive intelligence and many prominent economic actors pushed for a sustained national strategy to protect the "assets" of the French economic and industrial sector. On the proposal of the Finance Minister Christine Lagarde, Mr. Olivier Buquen has been appointed as interministerial representative for competitive intelligence; a post officially created on September 16th. He will be in charge of assessing and orienting the related intelligence policy in line with the government's aims. (additional information behind free password).
