Program Description
Join us for this informative perspective of how our competitive intelligence counterparts in Russia conduct business.  Speaker Fred Andresen is co-founder, President and Chairman of Prioritel Holdings, Inc. His career has spanned over forty years of international business success and travel in Europe, Russia and Asia.  Fred will bring his extensive knowledge and personal insight on Russian CI to this program.

About the Speaker
Fred Andresen leads Prioritel Holdings, Inc., next-generation global telecom and Internet based companies centered in the Russian, Central European and CIS markets. Andresen started and managed DirectNet Telecommunications in Russia in 1922, which expanded into a global company with revenues approaching $90 million. He was a Russian resident for six years.  DirectNet Telecommunciations was named “1997 Company of the Year” by The American Chamber of Commerce in Russia. Fred was named “Outstanding American Pioneer in Russia” by the Russian American Chamber of Commerce. He was a Charter member of the American Chamber of Commerce in Russia and a Director of the Russian-American Chamber of Commerce in the U.S.; was a Featured Speaker, Fifth Annual Russian Investment Symposium, Harvard University 2001; and Featured Speaker, “Reconstructing Russia,” Milken 2000 Global Conference.

Prior to the Russian business he spent over twenty years in skiwear manufacturing in Europe and Asia, particularly Japan, Hong Kong, Korea, China, the Philippines, and Singapore. He was elected president of Ski Industries America, the trade organization, 1972-74.

Fred Andresen is a graduate of Thunderbird School of Global Management and Colorado State University where he received William E. Morgan Alumni Achievement Award, 2005;  Officer, U.S. Army (Armor) serving in Korea. 1955-56; published author (fiction, non-fiction); and serves as President of the Los Angeles-St. Petersburg Sister City Committee and member of the World Wide Club of St. Petersburg (an exclusive cultural association.) Board member, Chamber Orchestra Kremlin, Moscow; Founder, Promusica Russia, a non-profit organization.
