Program Description
Please join us for an update on the Society of Competitive Intelligence and plans for 2010 and beyond directly from the SCIP CEO Ken Garrison.  The evening will also include networking over dinner and cocktails.

Presenter
Ken Garrison, CAE
SCIP Chief Executive Officer

Ken is the Chief Executive Officer of the Strategic and Competitive Intelligence Professionals. He works closely with the Board of Directors to establish society goals and objectives and he manages the daily operations of SCIP.

Prior to joining SCIP, Ken served as President of the Federation of Credit and Financial Professionals, a nonprofit organization that provides services to commercial credit, collection, risk, and financial managers. Concurrently, he served as the Executive Vice President of Smyth Group Services, a technology-based organization providing credit information sharing within a competitive environment.

Ken served as President of Finance Credit and International Business (FCIB), owned and operated a commercial printing business, and worked on the treasurer’s staff at Reynolds Metals Company. He earned an MBA degree from the University of Dallas and a Bachelor of Science Degree from the McIntire School at the University of Virginia.

Directions & Parking Information
From Market East Rail Station and the Philadelphia Convention Center:   Travel south on 12th St until you reach Sansom St. (0.2 miles).  Turn right onto Sansom St. (0.1 mile). At 13th and Sansom St. turn right, and then immediately turn left onto Drury St. (1/2 block)

Lot parking is available at Holiday Inn Express, 1305 Walnut St.; 1 and 1/2 block from McGillin's. From the Holiday Inn Express: Walk north on 13th St. (0.1 miles).  Drury St. will be past Sansom St. on your left.  Please bring your parking ticket, McGillin's will validate for a reduced $8 rate.
