War Gaming:  The Key to Competitive Victory
“War Gaming” is a favorite buzzword of the CI community.  But what is it, and can it really help you better understand your company’s business environment and competitors?  This interactive session puts participants into a mock war game, highlighting the best practices for a successful game. Attendees will learn the best situations for using a war game, how it will boost their visibility in their company, and share techniques for organizing a successful event.  Participants will come away with:

An understanding of the requirements of a pre-game “Play Book”
Techniques for getting management’s buy-in and player involvement
Do’s and Don’ts for holding a successful game

About the Speaker
Tanya Sewell, Marketing Director
Cipher Systems

As Cipher’s Marketing Director, Ms. Sewell is responsible for all Cipher’s client contact and sales and marketing initiatives.  She frequently speaks around the country about various competitive intelligence issues, concentrating on practitioners’ issues.  She also frequently presents Cipher’s award-winning enterprise competitive intelligence software, Knowledge Works, and discusses trends in CI software. Tanya produces a bi-monthly article in Competitive Intelligence Magazine.
