Staff bio -- Bonnie Hohhof

Bonnie Hohhof,
Director of Competitive Intelligence Research and Information

Bonnie is currently the Director of Competitive Intelligence Information and Research for the Strategic and Competitive Intelligence Professionals (SCIP) and the Competitive Intelligence Foundation. She has been the editor of SCIP's Competitive Intelligence Magazine for the past six years and was a leading expert on information systems that support business intelligence operations. In 2004, Bonnie received the SCIP Meritorious award which recognizes a single individual who has made significant and meritorious contributions to the competitive intelligence (CI) profession. She also received the 2004 SCIP Faye Brill Service award.

Bonnie has over 25 years of corporate experience, including the Corporate Strategy Offices of both Ameritech and Motorola. A charter member of SCIP, she also served on their Board of Directors, founded and edited the Competitive Intelligence Review for seven years, and received the SCIP Fellow Award in 1994.

Bonnie has contributed extensively to major competitive intelligence publications, most recently the Competitive Intelligence Foundation's Starting a Competitive Intelligence Function. She has extensively presented on competitive intelligence in many different venues, including executive education workshops. Bonnie has a BA in Political Science from Northwestern University, an MS in Information Sciences from Dominican University, and an MBA from Roosevelt University.
