SCIP’s Food & Fund Drive
Benefiting Atlanta Community Food Bank, at our
32nd Annual International Conference & Exhibition May 15-18, 2017, Atlanta, GA
February 15, 2017 — Strategic and Competitive Intelligence Professionals (SCIP) will partner with the Atlanta Community Food Bank for a Food & Fund Drive at the SCIP 32nd Annual International Conference & Exhibition May 15-18, 2017 to help fight against hunger in the Greater Atlanta/Northern Georgia area. In addition to a secure online donation website, SCIP will be collecting cash donations at the conference in order to purchase canned goods to benefit our host city's community.
This SCIP for a Better World initiative will allow Strategic and Competitive Intelligence Professionals to give back to those in need in our host city of Atlanta where the city's low income working families, seniors and children are in need of assistance. Help us reach our fundraising goal of $1,500!
“SCIP is proud to support the Atlanta Community Food Bank. Hunger is a serious and often hidden problem facing many communities. Families are extremely grateful for the help that they receive through their local food banks.” - Lisa Badolato, SCIP Director of Membership.
Make a Donation
Because of the Food Bank's ability to procure donated food and its efficient distribution model, a gift made here provides more food than through a traditional food drive -- doubling or even tripling the amount of food your dollar can provide at the grocery store. For every tax-deductible dollar you give, they can provide hungry neighbors with enough food for 4 meals. Visit our online donation site to support this great cause today.
Strategic and Competitive Intelligence Professionals (SCIP), is a 501(3)(c) global nonprofit membership community of business experts across industry, academia, and government who come together to build and share strategic intelligence, research decision-support tools, processes and analytics capabilities. About the Atlanta Community Food Bank
The Atlanta Community Food Bank works to end hunger with the food, people and big ideas needed to ensure our neighbors have the nourishment to lead healthy and productive lives. Far too many people in our own community experience hunger every day, including children, seniors and working families.
Through more than 600 nonprofit partners, we help more than 755,000 people get healthy food every year. Our goal is that, by 2025, all hungry people across metro Atlanta and North Georgia will have access to the nutritious meals they need when they need them. It takes the power of our whole community to make that possible. Join us at ACFB.org.
