DAVID FRIGSTAD

David Frigstad has devoted his entire career to helping companies generate, evaluate and implement more innovative growth strategies. Shortly after graduating university he co-founded a company, which eventually became known as Frost & Sullivan. Frost & Sullivan pioneered and became the world leader in providing economic, technology, competitive, customer, demographic and best practices research to support clients with their investment and business strategy decisions. Today, the company is focused on helping clients become visionary innovators in their industry. This is done through a unique value proposition based on 360-degree research, a global platform, comprehensive industry coverage and career best practices. This allows Frost & Sullivan to become a company's growth partner on their "Journey to Visionary Innovation"?. 

He has authored 6 books which leverage his career experience including: Market Engineering, High Technology Market Research, Competitive Engineering, Customer Engineering, Healthcare Market Engineering, Industrial Market Engineering, and also co-authored Venture Capital Proposal Package. He is currently working on a new book called "The Journey to Visionary Innovation: Leveraging Best Practices in Growth, Innovation and Leadership"?.

David travels extensively to facilitate growth workshops and think tanks on visionary innovation, megatrends, growth strategy and competitive strategy. He frequently keynotes at industry events, associations and company strategy meetings. 

He is currently a member of the board of the Strategy and Competitive Intelligence Professionals association that is dedicated to the development of competitive strategy professionals to drive corporate growth. David is also the Chairman of the Board of the Frost & Sullivan Institute which is a non profit organization dedicated to leveraging innovation to address global challenges. 

David holds a Bachelor of Science degree in MIS and management. He received his master's degree in Japanese Business Administration from the Japan American Institute of Management Science in association with Sophia University, Tokyo Japan. He also holds a Masters in Business Administration with a double concentration in International Finance and International Marketing from Indiana University.
