Competitive Intelligence has become a critical responsibility within the investor relations function at publicly held companies. This webinar is focused on how competitive intelligence professionals can be essential partners with the investor relations officer as they seek to provide actionable and relevant data to the C-suite and board on the company’s competitors, peers, industry and overall market. About our Presenter:

David Calusdian

David Calusdian is President of Sharon Merrill Associates, an investor relations and corporate communications strategic advisor firm serving a global client base. He leads the implementation of the firm’s business strategy, coaches C-level officers and board members in executive presence and communications skills, and provides high-level strategic counsel to clients on investor relations and communications issues such as corporate disclosure, management transitions, shareholder activism and earnings guidance. He currently serves as a director on the boards of the National Investor Relations Institute (NIRI) and the International OCD Foundation.


Prior to joining Sharon Merrill Associates in 1995, David served as an account executive for the communications firm Jack Walsh & Associates. Previously, David was the director of public relations at Emerson College, where he received both a B.A. and an M.A. in communications. He also has served as an adjunct instructor at Emerson College, teaching investor relations, public relations and persuasive speaking.  A former board member and president of the National Investor Relations Institute’s Boston chapter, David is a frequent speaker and panelist at conferences sponsored by organizations including NIRI, NASDAQ, the New York Stock Exchange and the Public Relations Society of America
