Presentation Synopsis:

Companies are increasingly considering outsourcing and offshoring options across a range of business functions.  Market and competitive intelligence functions are not immune from this trend.

Implementing an outsourced/offshore approach can substantially increase your organisation’s MI capabilities yielding substantial ROI, although it does come with risks.  However, these risks can all be managed through appropriate planning, well executed implementation and   active management of the long-term partnership.

This presentation will summarise learnings gained from multiple implementations of outsourced offshore intelligence functions across several industries.  In addition to outlining the basic offshoring options and potential key benefits, the limitations of offshoring will also be discussed. The critical stages of initial implementation as well as ongoing execution and management of an offshore team will be explored.  Finally, it will highlight options to get the most out of your offshore team.

Key Take-Aways:

·         Identifying outsourced/offshore intelligence options and key potential benefits

·         Defining what should and should not be outsourced

·         Guidance to help with initial set-up of an offshore team, as well as longer term management

·         How to get the most out of your offshore team
