Setting up the CI Function: Part III โ€“ Operations

This webinar, part three of a three-part series, covers the initial start-up phase of the CI unit. Earlier webinars covered why to set up a CI unit and how to identify users, needs, and what types of CI are needed. The second part discussed specific tools used to identify what information is needed, how to distribute that information, and how to insure sustainability.

 

In this webinar will cover tools used to manage CI activities and how to build Key Intelligence Topics and Key Intelligence Questions. The webinar will also review how to staff the CI unit with an emphasis on the skills and personality types needed, and circumstances where a third party can add value. The role, and function, of the CI cycle and how it relates to operating a CI unit will round out the session. A brief CI unit budget with key categories will be provided as a guide.

 

Participants will gain a better appreciation of what it takes to run an effective CI unit and deliver effective CI to stakeholders.
