Send in a question to be answered by a SCIP EXPERT.

    Question:

As someone who is entering CI profession, what skillsets do I need to have to be a CI professional?

 Answer:

The definition of Competitive Intelligence [CI] has evolved and is more comprehensive than in the past. Based on our Salary Study conducted in 2016, professionals engaged in the intelligence field proved to be well-rounded with overlapping abilities irrespective of the department they were currently assigned to. For instance, 77% of the partakers appeared to support CI/MI while 62% support Strategy. In addition, the Competitive Technical Intelligence stands as a unique position given it's scientific, clinical application, technical slant, and skills requirements.
