SCIP19 Deadline to Submit Call for Sessions is November 15!

Planning has begun and the status quo is gone! The call for sessions is now open and we’ve streamlined the process.

1. Send us your proposal based on the guidelines outlined below, no later than November 15, 2018
2. You will be contacted upon review of your content and next steps will be identified. It’s that simple!


We are encouraging all intelligence experts and game changers to inject fresh thought leadership into the agenda. 2019 will witness an organization galvanized to increase the value of the content for both seasoned intelligence professionals as well as those in earlier stages of career development.

Let’s take it to the next level! Send us proposals centering around:

Use Cases: Highlight the outcomes of an application of intelligence to drive strategy and growth or solve a business challenge.

Tech-Enabled CI: Teach us the art and science of artificial intelligence, analytics, digital tools and other cutting edge technology.

Strategic Boardroom: Contribute ideas for interactive discussions among seasoned executives, who prepare or engage in C-Suite conversations on topics around seizing growth opportunities and solving growth challenges facing the organization.

The Fundamentals: Lay the foundation for those new to the profession, and those looking to refresh or enhance the basics.

Surprise Us: Introduce us to disruptive ideas!


Click here to submit your proposal by November 15, 2018, which should include:

1. Session Title - capture our attention!
2. One to two sentences describing the main thrust and focus of the session.
3. Three specific Take-Aways your audience can be guaranteed to get from your session. We need to set expectations up front as to what tangible information they can bring back to their organizations. Please craft your Take-Aways so that they are specific items rather than general thoughts or ideas.

Key Take-Aways should start with phrases like:

Framework - Template - Guide - Case history - Success factors - Lessons learned - Pitfalls - Blueprint - Critical Factors - Fresh Perspectives -- Outcomes - Insight on - Tools - Metrics - Best practices for - Action items/steps - Techniques - Key Findings - Proven Ways - Examples

4. Your name, title, company, and phone.

Please note: As a speaker or interactive session facilitator your General Session registration fee will be waived in appreciation. You will be responsible for your own travel and accommodation.


Moving from Insight to Action: Leveraging CI for Growth
This session will examine the tools and methods used to transform Competitive Insight into action. With active group discussions, the session will focus on how effective CI units are able to communicate and create action plans based on CI insights.

Key Take-Aways:

- A guide on how to produce recommendations for action based on CI findings plausible and rooted in the future of your industry
- Examples of successful CI units that have turned insight into action and how that action has produced success
- A deeper understanding of the pitfalls in turning CI into insight and how to avoid the common mistakes of CI units
