As per SCIP Bylaws, I am moving-off the SCIP Board in 2020 after several year of service but I will still be an active member of SCIP!
Why do I stay involved?
SCIP is more than an annual conference. It’s education, training, best practices, and a community of intelligence and strategy professionals across many industries. Best-practices abound across industries and across the globe, and I’ve personally benefited greatly from my peers in different sectors and geographies.
Networking is giving back!
I started my career in intelligence over 20 years ago. All along the way, SCIP members provided a forum for coaching, support and networking. I greatly enjoy sharing my expertise with other intelligence professionals at all stages of their career. So, reach out to me or other SCIP members and network, ask questions and support each other!
I see a bright future for SCIP, with Paul Santilli as Advisory Board Chair and Cam Mackey as Executive Director. I encourage you and all members to engage with SCIP and your peers, in support of the transformation of the organization and our profession. Change brings great opportunities and hope!
