  Dan Mulligan earned his undergraduate degree in Engineering and a graduate degree in Leadership Development from the United States Military Academy at West Point and is a graduate of the U.S. Army Command and General Staff College. He earned his doctorate in Organizational Leadership at Grand Canyon University. Dr. Mulligan is a Certified Intelligence Professional (CIP I & II) and served on the faculty of the Academy of Competitive Intelligence for several years. He created the CI curriculum and founded the SCIP Student Chapter at Mercyhurst University, while also teaching undergraduate and graduate Competitive Intelligence, Advanced Research and Analysis, Organizational Leadership and Organizational Behavior. As an instructor and consultant for the Dale Carnegie organization, he taught its leadership, communications, and sales programs for more than a decade. Throughout this time, he worked with more than 300 of the Fortune 500 companies. While serving in the U.S. Army, LTC Mulligan was assigned to the Intelligence Transition Team in Baghdad, Iraq, where he was the coalition’s primary advisor to the Iraqi government for their Defense Intelligence Agency, Central Intelligence Agency, and Open Source Directorate. Dan has presented at numerous SCIP conferences and received “Best Conference Presentation” recognition in 2010. He was a SCIP Catalyst Award recipient in 2012.
