It is with this outlook that SCIP has assembled the Global Executive Business Council, a select group of high-level executives that convene with other executives to discuss the forces that are shaping the global business outlook and determine strategies for how to adapt. Nigel Aston, Chief Strategy Officer, Blok-Tech SL

 

Nigel Aston is a consultant and Chief Strategy Officer of Blok-Tech SL, a Spanish technology company in the Blockchain, Security and IoT field. Until January 2018 he was Senior Advisor, Corporate Strategy at Amadeus, a leading global technology company headquartered in Madrid, Spain, where he worked for nearly 22 years.  In that time he established and led the CI department in Amadeus and was instrumental in forging Amadeus´s current partnership with the World Economic Forum. He joined Amadeus as senior aide to the former CEO, following a spell as a consultant on EU projects.  In his first career Nigel was a UK civil servant, latterly with responsibility for incoming tourism to the UK, in which role he represented the UK within the EU, OECD and UNWTO. 

 


 

Neeraj Bali, Former Major General of the Indian Army

 

Maj Gen Neeraj Bali, Sena Medal, (Retd) began his career in uniform as a Cadet at National Defence Academy (India’s West Point) in January 1975 and was commissioned as a 2nd Lieutenant in 1978 in Infantry in the Indian Army. During his career, he served in various areas, notably for three tours of duty in Jammu & Kashmir – one on the Line of Control, in command of a specialist battalion in anti-terrorist role and finally as a key staff officer handling intelligence and counterinsurgency operations in the Kashmir Valley. He also twice served in Arunachal Pradesh along the border with China, in the state of Assam during insurgency and in the deserts of Rajasthan. He commanded a Brigade in the Western theatre. 

Maj Gen Neeraj Bali likes to read and write on a variety of subjects. His areas of special interest are leadership (particularly its relationship with ‘competitive intelligence’ and handling ‘risk’), intelligence (including its interplay with growth of Social Media) and the growing presence of China and India on the African continent. On last of these subjects he is currently pursuing Ph D at Pune University. He superannuated in April 2016 and is currently the CEO of Pravara Rural Education Society, the oldest education Society in the Indian state of Maharashtra having 92 schools, colleges and institutes, and 42,000 students on its rolls. 

 

 

Tina Bundgaard, Partner, Lematik Nordics

 

Tina has a comprehensive background within Finance, as a former Chief Controller responsible for the Scandinavian and Baltic countries. She has special competencies within business planning, budgeting, strategy input and market analysis. Tina joined the headquarters of Rockwool International in December 2010. The task was to establish a corporate Market Intelligence function from scratch, establis an MI network across the Rockwool group and develop standards for competitive, market and business analysis and tracking. Recently, Tina has been involved in setting up a top level Market Intelligence community with participation of larger companies based in Denmark, and expects to retrieve valuable insight in the MI functions of other companies. Tina is graduate of Copenhagen Business School in Copenhagen, Denmark within the field of Business, Language and Culture. She lives in the southern part of Denmark and enjoys travelling both summer and especially winter when skiing is the top priority. 

 

 

Mike Crawford, Vice President and Senior Manager, Fifth Third Bank

 

Mike Crawford serves as Vice President and Senior Manager in Fifth Third Bancorp’s Digital Team where he leads the development of new, valued experiences for its Millennial consumers. The first of which is Fifth Third Momentum, a brand new app that helps customers pay down student loans 5 years faster (on average).


He joined Fifth Third in 2011 and through September 2016 led building of the customer and competitive intelligence function, process and deliverables within the Corporate Strategy Group. He uncovered key consumer trends and competitive actions that impacted the company’s strategic direction and synthesized that information into actionable insights and opportunities that resulted in new products and programs for Fifth Third. Notably, he focused on researching and designing new experiences for Millennials and Homebuyers.

Prior to joining Fifth Third Bank, Mike worked at Raytheon, creating the strategy for and leading a global sales team tasked with commercializing a new homeland security analytics product. Prior to that role, he also acted in a sales management and strategy role for an $800M revenue product line in Raytheon’s Intelligence and Information Systems business. Mike also has had several consulting or contract positions providing innovation, product and portfolio management and/or marketing support to leading Fortune 500 companies.Mike earned his M.B.A. in International Business with a concentration in Applied Economics from DePaul University and has a B.S. in Marketing from Clemson University. Mike serves as a mentor to start-ups at Ocean Accelerator (http://www.oceanaccelerator.com) and with his wife, volunteers as a Wish Granter for Make A Wish Foundation.

Stephanie previously founded three other companies (RiskAware, LLC, Glueworks, LLC and ABX Central). Stephanie also serves as an Associate Professor of Strategy at Northern Kentucky University. Stephanie received her BS in Marketing and an MBA in International Business from St. Joseph's University in Philadelphia, PA. Al Naqvi, President, American Institute for Artificial Intelligence

Before establishing his own firm, Joseph held management positions at Numico Netherlands, Dr.Oetker Group Germany, R.J. Reynolds Tobacco USA and Arthur D Little Benelux.
